From factory floor to market share.

Meridian Access Partners is a team of senior operators who build private label products, run global sourcing relationships, and open the channels that get them to market — for brands who want to own more of their supply chain and their margin.

What we do

From sourcing decision to shelf: building the right product at the right cost, making sure it's compliant and production-ready, getting it delivered, and putting it in front of the right buyers.

Sourcing & private label development

Factory identification, vetting, and negotiation tailored to each client and product, COGS and margin engineering, MOQ structuring, and end-to-end private label development from concept to first production run.

Product & brand build-out

Turning a sourced product into a sellable brand — positioning, sub-brand creation, and the operational discipline to launch categories that can hold a leading market position.

Compliance & QA

Pre-production, in-process, and final inspections managed against a signed-off golden sample; CPSC/CPSIA, Prop 65, and other regulatory compliance; social compliance and factory audits; certificates of conformity and test documentation handled end-to-end.

Freight consolidation & forwarding

Combining shipments from multiple suppliers into FCL or LCL loads, customs clearance and brokerage coordination, and full landed-cost visibility from factory floor to warehouse dock — so freight doesn't quietly erode the margin we've already engineered in.

Sales channel development

Channel strategy across Marketplace, Retail, VAR, Distribution, Enterprise, and Direct-to-Consumer — pricing and positioning by channel, and avoiding the conflicts that erode margin as a brand grows.

How we work

A repeatable path from sourcing decision to shelf, run by people who have done it inside their own P&L — not just advised on it.

1

Assess

We start with the product, the category, and the current cost structure — identifying where margin is being left on the table and where private label makes sense.

2

Source & develop

We identify and vet manufacturing partners suited to your product, support term negotiation, and manage product development through sampling, approvals, and first production runs.

3

Golden sample

We either manage the golden sample process directly or guide your team through it — locking materials, tooling, color, and finish before mass production begins. Once approved, it becomes the standard every production run, and every inspection, is measured against.

4

Compliance & QA

We can run inspections and compliance directly on your behalf, or work alongside your internal team as they do — covering pre-production, in-process, and final inspections against the golden sample, CPSC/CPSIA and other regulatory compliance, and social compliance audits and test documentation, catching drift before it reaches a container.

5

Freight & forwarding

We can manage freight consolidation, customs clearance, and brokerage directly, or advise your logistics team through the process — combining shipments from multiple suppliers into FCL or LCL loads and tracking true landed cost, so the margin engineered upstream survives the trip to the warehouse.

6

Launch

We sequence the go-to-market: naming, positioning, and the operational readiness needed to bring a new product or sub-brand to market cleanly.

7

Scale channels

We advise on and recommend the right channel mix — Marketplace, Retail, Distribution, and beyond — so growth doesn't come at the cost of price integrity or partner conflict. If a channel plan isn't already in place, we consult directly with your team to build it and develop that competency in-house.

Frequently asked questions

A few things prospective clients usually want to know before reaching out.

How is Meridian Access Partners different from a sourcing agent or a general strategy consultant?+

Sourcing agents typically stop at finding a factory. Strategy consultants typically stop at a recommendation. Our team has personally run the P&L that has to absorb both — owning the margin outcome and building the channels the product is ultimately sold through.

What does a typical engagement look like?+

Engagements range from a fixed-scope sourcing or COGS audit (typically 4–8 weeks) to an ongoing advisory retainer or fractional executive role (typically 3–12 months). We scope the engagement to the problem rather than applying one standard package.

Which regions and manufacturing categories do you have direct experience in?+

Our team's sourcing experience is concentrated across Asia-Pacific, with direct experience across consumer and hardware product categories, spanning consumer and B2B channels. We identify and vet new manufacturing partners for each client engagement.

Do you work on a retainer, project fee, or equity basis?+

It depends on the engagement. Project-based work is typically a fixed or milestone fee; ongoing advisory and board roles are typically a monthly retainer; interim executive roles are negotiated case by case, sometimes including an equity component.

How involved will your team be versus how much stays with mine?+

That's set at the start of each engagement. Some clients want us running point on factory negotiations directly; others want us advising their internal team while they retain execution. We're built to work either way.

Let's talk about your sourcing and channel strategy.

Whether you're launching a private label line, renegotiating your supply chain, or opening a new sales channel, we'd like to hear what you're working on.
